What types of cable can I route?
The kit is intended to assist with compatible electrical cable, Ethernet, speaker wire and other low-voltage wiring in suitable wall or ceiling cavities.
Does it work through every wall?
No. Magnetic coupling depends on wall material, thickness and the distance between the two magnetic components. Metal, insulation and internal obstructions may reduce performance. Test the magnetic connection before beginning the full route.
Can it pull cable through a wooden stud?
No. The tool guides cable through suitable open cavities. It does not create a path through studs, solid barriers or blocked sections.
Do I still need entry and exit holes?
Yes. You need suitable access for inserting and retrieving the leader. The magnetic tool helps control the path between those access points.
